ntfy

ntfy Publishes the events a subscription chooses to an ntfy topic, on ntfy.sh or your own server, for push notifications on a phone or desktop.

Setup

  1. Choose a server

    Settings server_url

  2. Subscribe to a topic

    1. In the ntfy app, choose Subscribe to topic.
    2. Enter a Topic name nobody would guess.
    3. For your own server, turn on Use another server and enter its address.
    4. Choose Subscribe.

  3. Create an access token

    1. Sign in to the ntfy web app and open Account.
    2. Under Access tokens, choose Create access token, then Create token.
    3. Copy the token.
